
Thomas M. Kane
Tom has over 35 years of experience as a senior corporate financial services executive, with deep expertise across the global maritime, aerospace, energy, and technology sectors. Over the course of his career, he has originated billions of dollars in shipping, transportation, and energy-related projects. His completed transactions span debt and equity capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, sale-leaseback structures, and complex restructuring assignments. He has developed an extensive global network of ultra-high-net-worth investors, senior executives, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
Prior to founding Worldwide Capital Corporation, Tom served as a Senior Managing Director at YA Capital. Before joining YA Capital, he was a Managing Director at Chatsworth Securities, where he led the Transportation and Energy divisions and completed transactions ranging from $25 million to $500 million. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the investment banking arm of Simpson Spence & Young, the world’s largest independent shipbroker. During his first fiscal year in that role, he originated more than $400 million of loans for maritime companies and built a global advisory team. Additional senior roles include heading Global Capital Finance’s Maritime Group, leading the New York office of Boeing Capital Corporation, and serving as a Vice President at AT&T Capital Corporation.
Tom began his career as a founder and CEO, building TKO Incorporated into a premier technology and data center infrastructure leasing and equipment lifecycle management firm serving large-scale corporate and institutional clients across the Greater New York City region. He led the company from inception through growth and successful exit, overseeing complex leasing structures and long-term service agreements supporting mission-critical data center environments and enterprise technology platforms in partnership with global manufacturers including IBM, Siemens, and Xerox.
TKO’s clientele included major financial institutions such as Chase Manhattan and Wertheim Schroder, as well as prominent healthcare organizations including North Shore University Hospital.
Tom holds a BA in Economics from the State University of New York and maintains FINRA Series 63 and 82 licenses.
