
Nick Tymoshenko is a student at Columbia University studying Economics
and Mathematics. Through coursework, he has gained experience in
investment analysis, including building three-statement models, DCFs,
and LBO models to evaluate capital structure, returns, and downside
risk. Nick is currently an intern at Metinvest, a top-10 global iron
ore exporter and one of the largest mining and metallurgical groups in
Eastern Europe, where he is working on an energy independence project
focused on cost volatility, generation alternatives, and capital
allocation under wartime conditions. In collaboration with Evhen
Tsybulenko, a professor at TalTech, he has also conducted legal
research on international accountability and post-conflict
reconstruction, with work published in Estonian, Cypriot, Bulgarian,
and Polish newspapers.
