Jon Stein

Prior to joining Worldwide Capital Corporation, Jon served as a Vice President at Young America Capital, which he joined in 2017. He has experience supporting domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. During his tenure at Young America Capital, Jon was responsible for financial analysis, feasibility opinions, valuations, and the preparation of investment memoranda. His transaction experience spans the maritime, medical device, home healthcare, logistics, and aviation sectors.

Jon also serves as a Financial Advisor to the JLS Fund, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on plant-based medicine and neurology. His responsibilities include bookkeeping, preparation of quarterly NAV reports, audit support, financial modeling of prospective investments, and advising the general partners on valuation matters.

Prior to Young America Capital, Jon worked at NYBay Capital, an investment bank specializing in cross-border buyside transactions. He played an integral role in Cosmic Forward Limited’s $20 million acquisition of Professional Diversity Network, a NASDAQ-listed company providing job listings and professional networking services. As part of that transaction, Jon conducted valuation analyses on more than a dozen NASDAQ-listed companies.

Jon also helped facilitate the acquisition of Martha Clara Vineyards by a high-net-worth Mexican family. Acting under a buyside mandate, he evaluated approximately 20 prospective vineyard acquisitions and determined that Martha Clara Vineyards offered the most attractive return relative to the seller’s asking price.

Jon holds a BSBA in Finance from Drake University and FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses.
